From all my years in skincare, the most recurring questions has been "how do I choose a routine"? "I don't have a routine, what do I do"?
The best skincare results happen with consistency and you can only build consistency by following routines religiously.
What to consider when picking routines:
- Keep it simple. Don't overload your day to day routine with products. Start with simple cleanse, exfoliate, treat, moisturise, protect guidelines.
- Avoid copying other people's routines. Don't buy products just because it sounds nice. Read about it and make sure it would suit your skin concerns. Most especially, send a message to us before purchase for product guide.
- Be disciplined. Test a product for any reactions on a part of your skin first before use. It's called a patch test.
- Give products time to work. Don't switch products too soon in your routine. At least 4-6 weeks. Some products may take longer to work so be patient.
- Be flexible. Be willing to make adjustments to your routine where necessary.
